I have owned this domain for over two years, so I suppose it was time that I made some use of it. It has served well as a repository for files and as a forwarding address for email. In fact, for that alone it is worthwhile. I have had several ISPs and even more email addresses in the past couple of years – so owning the domain is one way to ensure at least one permanent stable contact.
Thinking about it, over the past ten years – I have probably had at least twenty addresses used with some regularity. Some might still exist.
Spuddy provided one of the first addresses I had through a bulletin board gateway to the net. Others have included rocketmail, which I think was bought by yahoo, and a few that still drain masses of spam on HoTMaiL – set up before Microsoft bought up that service.
