I have never been the most organised person but have now decided to harness technology in my drive to keep things together. I took delivery of a Palm PDA today and have spent the evening getting it set up on bluetooth so I have a limited sort of wireless network.
It’s taking a while to get the battery charged, so it’ll be tomorrow before I get a proper chance to see how it works.
Parcel force delivery was chaotic. As I was at work when they called on Monday, I phoned and asked for it to be delivered to a post office near my work on the Tuesday. They assured me it would be there by two this afternoon. I was there, but the delivery was not. Turns out despite what was agreed on the phone they kindly had decided to deliver it to a post office nearer my home. Unfortunately the two o’clock thing seems to also have been an aspiration not expectation.
Well still waiting for a couple of further deliveries including the DVD of ‘A Very peculiar Practice’ which the BBC have finally released.
