wimbledonian

If someone asked me if I was a tennis fan, I’d try to shrug my shoulders and say not really. Yet if you add up the hours of Wimbledon that I have watched, you’d have to admit I’m on the way to becoming something of an addict.

With Andy Murray replacing Tim Henman as the national hope, perhaps in part my Scottish roots that bring this fevour to the fore. I’m sure it’s not normal to be clapping madly when a break point is made good in a flat on your own, to do so that your hands sting is surely bordering on the insane.

I’m afraid I do watch cricket too. Though in this case I’d rather see a game at a local park than spend any time watching TV highlights of a much higher profile match.
