Anyone running the Firefox browser from the Mozilla Corporation might
want to update to the latest released version 1.5
There are a load of changes ‘under the hood’ including bug and security
fixes along with continued improvement to the range and quality of
standards support, with SVG capabilities switched on. Perhaps the most immediate gain over the 1.0x releases is speeded up back/forward switching from cache.
They’ve had a long build up to this version with DeerPark releases for beta and three release candidates – so extension developers should have been able to update. However some extensions might not work with the new version. The few extensions that I’ve been using have been fine in 1.5 betas:- Adblock plus; All-in-one sidebar; Customizegoogle; del.icio.us; and Stumbleupon.
