Just returned from a quick visit stateside. Despite warnings of average seasonal temperatures in the eighties (old money) – there were storms and floodings the whole while that I was there. Typical.
To compound things. I’ve managed to pick up a cold. In July. Basic runny nose, nasty cough & sore throat gubbins. Despite knowing better – I’ve been lured into pharmacies a couple of times for the well marketed potions. Though today I was reminded of a more effective remedy for the sore throat at least. Aspirin gargle.
