So not only do New Labour cabinet ministers have their mortgages paid off by right wing Italian politicians. The party has been caught taking backhanders in return for peerages
After a century where their platform was to remove or reform the House of Lords – it seems that they have now modernised their position and I wouldn’t be suprised to hear they have plans to pass a Rotten Boroughs Bill in the next Session. They make Neil Hamilton look emphatically bona fide – he was simply slid a couple of grand in a brown envelope – none of these off-shore trusts and mafia dealings.
If we’re not ready to do away with politicos yet, couldn’t somebody at least try cloning Martin Bell
